Around our luxury B&B in the north Cotswolds are several exciting businesses that reflect the changing face of the beautiful Cotswolds. One of the most impressive organisations and one which we have previously written about is Daylesford Organic, home to one of the best farm shops in the world.

Daylesford is a great organisation with excellent organic products and truly beautiful branding and packaging. Recently, Daylesford has been extending one of their buildings by adding an additional section behind the main food hall.

The New Hall

The hall opened this week hosting the Christmas area and it is a lovely light airy construction.

Daylesford really know how to do Christmas. Their gifts are unusual and beautiful and definitely won’t be found on the High Street.

Their hampers are something special and Christmas is a time to spoil yourself so don’t choose the Here’s To Health hamper, rather go with the Celebration Hamper!

Christmas food

Daylesford also produce many excellent Christmas foods and delicacies one of which are their Christmas puddings. The taste is excellent but the wonderful packaging really makes them special. I especially love the ribbons which remind me of sleigh bells and reindeer galloping over snow!

Daylesford also have a great range of gins which are very tasty. The options are Sloe, Damson or straight Gin. They usually have a tasting table for the gins and also their range of wines from Chateau Leoube.

Their beautiful Christmas video is also worth a look (except if you are a turkey).

When you have finished shopping, make sure you have one of their excellent mince pies with coffee or tea in the cafe.

Daylesford near Kingham is about a twenty minute drive from The Old Kiln House Luxury B&B through beautiful Cotswolds countryside and past lovely towns like Stow-On-The-Wold.
